A Rolling Cultural Activation + IRL Billboard for Nouns
- ETHBoulder (Feb 13–15) + ETHDenver (Feb 17–20)
- Powered by Nouns x OnchainCreators™
- “Do Good, Have Fun” (Colorado Edition)
Summary:
This proposal is for a Nouns Bus, produced in collaboration with Onchain Creators™, running across Boulder and Denver during ETH Colorado.
The bus is not a logo placement or sponsorship asset.
It’s a moving cultural object that brings Nouns values into the real world.
It will function as:
- A rolling billboard and cultural artifact traveling Boulder ↔ Denver for ~2 weeks
- An open canvas for Nounish community art
- A creator hub for filming, storytelling, and Rally Challenge submissions
- Transportation for Nouns (capacity permitting) across key conference moments
- A high-visibility public activation parked at strategic locations (including ETHDenver & ETH Boulder venues)
- A mobile Nouns merch hub where attendees can pick up Noggles, Nounish Friends + more!
- A curation pipeline culminating at ETHDenver in collaboration with Base + Refraction
This is not just branding — it’s how we reinforce Nouns culture and share it with the world through participation, not promotion.
Why This Matters:
Nouns is the culture layer of Ethereum. Nouns Bus invites the public into that conversation.
- A real-world embodiment of: memes → culture → participation
- A vehicle for:
- creator onboarding
- cultural storytelling
- community joy + experimentation
Deliverables:
The Nouns Bus Concept
The Bus is the activation.
A moving media object + cultural symbol.
Key points:
- Drives and parks between Denver → Boulder → Denver
- Visible at major conference touchpoints
- Functions as a recurring set to:
- record interviews
- capture content
- shoot “bus moments” (arrival, pickup, crowd scenes, etc.)
The bus becomes part of the story, not a sponsor logo passing through it.
Visibility + Advertising Value + Cultural Reach
The “2-week billboard”
For two weeks, the Nouns Bus is a constant presence in Colorado:
- On roads between Denver + Boulder
- Parked at high-foot-traffic locations
- Regular appearances near ETHBoulder and ETHDenver event venues and prime activations
Key moments include:
- In front of ETHDenver venue (major photo + foot traffic opportunity)
- In front of ETH Boulder venues
- Integrated into daily creator movement
- Captured repeatedly across creator content
This is earned media, not paid impressions. The bus shows up naturally across creator content again and again.

Art & Design (Bus vinyl wrap)
The bus will be wrapped with Nounish illustrations and designs
- Primary art designed by Camilita
- Designed as a Nouns cultural artifact, not an ad
- Designed to be photographed, shared, memed
Design elements to include:
- Nouns heads / Noggles motif
- “Do Good, Have Fun”
- ETHDenver + ETHBoulder edition vibe
- QR code for creator rally submissions
Open Call for Nounish Art (Community Activation)
To extend participation beyond a single artist, we’ll open a public call to the Nouns community for Nounish artwork to be featured on the bus.
This turns the bus into a rolling gallery of community creativity, not just a wrap.
How it works:
- Nouns community members are invited to submit:
- illustrations
- visual art
- playful Nounish expressions aligned with the theme
- Selected works are:
- featured directly on the bus (vinyl panels / windows / interior placements)
- credited to the artist
- documented through creator content during the Creator Rally
The bus reflects many voices, not one.
Creator Challenge Integration
This is where it becomes interactive.
Bus features a large QR code:
“Submit to the Onchain Creator Rally”
Challenge theme:
Do Good, Have Fun
This continues the Rally format successfully tested in Buenos Aires during Devconnect.
Why this matters:
- It’s a living theme, not a one-off slogan. The theme is flexible and human.
- Reinforces Nouns as optimistic, fun, cultural, public-good aligned
- Anyone can participate without needing context or permission
Deliverables:
- submissions minted/published
- selected highlights and winners
- recap content
- “Nouns Bus content gallery”

Curation & Cultural Showcase at ETHDenver
The Nouns Bus activation culminates at ETHDenver with a curated cultural showcase presented in a high-traffic location inside the event with our partners Base + Refraction.
This moment brings everything together:
- Nounish community art submitted through the open call
- Camilita's primary Nouns Bus artwork
- Creator Rally content (video, photography, short-form storytelling)
All of it converges into a single, highly visible space that represents Nouns as culture in motion.
What This Creates
-
A clear narrative arc:
**Community → Creation → Movement → Curation** -
A physical space where people can experience Nouns culture, not just hear about it
-
A moment of recognition for artists and creators who participated throughout the week
Rather than dispersing content across feeds, this showcase anchors it in one place, reinforcing Nouns as a cultural center within Ethereum’s largest conference.
Nouns Merch Hub
Throughout ETHBoulder and ETHDenver, the Nouns Bus will serve as a mobile Nouns merch hub, where attendees can pick up:
- Noggles
- Nounish Friends
Kindly donated by Bigshot Toyworks (aka Bigshot Klim).
This turns the bus into a place people don’t just see — but interact with and remember.
Documented, Not Just Distributed
Every merch interaction will be:
- filmed
- photographed
- shared by creators as part of the Rally
This turns simple giveaways into:
- cultural touchpoints
- onboarding moments
- lasting visual memories tied to Nouns
Merch moments became natural:
- photo ops
- conversation starters
- social content
This approach worked extremely well during the Buenos Aires Rally, where merch became a natural entry point into Nouns culture.
We’re expanding on what already works.

This is culture-building work.
Not marketing.

Culture as an Onboarding Tool
OnchainCreators has a proven track record of using culture as an effective onboarding mechanism for creators entering the onchain ecosystem.
Rather than leading with tools or technical education, our activations focus on:
- shared experiences
- creative participation
- visible, welcoming entry points
This approach consistently lowers the barrier to entry and converts cultural curiosity into meaningful onchain engagement.

Case Study: Devconnect, Buenos Aires
At the Onchain Creator Rally during Devconnect in Buenos Aires, our activation successfully onboarded new creators and community members into onchain culture through:
- IRL challenges and open participation
- artist and creator-led storytelling
- public, social-first documentation
One notable example:
atown, who was introduced to the ecosystem through the Rally, went on to bid on and win Noun 1729 shortly after the activation.
This outcome demonstrates a critical insight:
The most effective onboarding doesn’t feel like onboarding. It feels like belonging.
