Description

- An illustration art contest to curate and select the top 10 emerging artists via Nounsweek
- Hosting a Artist Bootcamp and Art Exhibtion on March 28-29, 2025, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
- Educational sessions covering the Nouns ecosystem: DAO fundamentals, Nouns culture, CC0 licensing, ways to contribute to Nouns, funding opportunities, and building a career as a Web3 artist.
- Our goal is to onboard 10 artists into the Nouns ecosystem in a sustainable and long-term manner.
- Create 10 nounish artworks in 10 days to celebrate Nouns ’O Clock, starting from Noun 1861 - Noun 1870.
- Host 5 weeks of Nounsweek X Spaces, featuring 2 artists per week to discuss their Nouns ’O Clock pieces and creative process.
- Requiring participating artists to actively share their work and journey on social media platforms (Instagram and X).

Nounsweek 2024 Flashback
- Successfully onboarded several Indonesian artists into the Nouns ecosystem, who remain active and engaged to this day: Mukhlis AbsArt, Mindtoasted, Pandu, Deguma, and Aprilia
- Organized a 3-day digital art exhibition at Superlative Gallery, Bali, attended by over 240 visitors. Here is the recap of Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3
- Hosted a conference discussing Nouns and DAO fundamentals, engaging more than 50 university students.

Nounsweek Bootcamp
- Organizing a digital art contest with a $500 USDC prizes.
- The contest will be hosted on Nounsweek, where curators will select the top 10 artists.
- The selected 10 artists will participate in an offline bootcamp in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on March 28-29, 2026.
- Educational sessions covering Nouns, DAOs, digital illustration, how to participate in the Nouns ecosystem, and practical insights on staying active as builders within Nouns.
- The curator will select 10 artists with the best works to participate in the bootcamp and art contest. The curators are:

Nounsweek Art Exhibition at LAV Gallery
- 10 selected artworks by participating artists will be printed and exhibited at LAV Gallery for 1 month.
- LAV Gallery is a respected contemporary art space with institutional collaborations, including Universitas Negeri Solo and Chiba University, and exhibitions featuring artists such as Jatti Adji and Alodia Yap, making it a strategic venue to expand Nouns’ cultural presence.
- The opening of the exhibition will feature a guided gallery tour and the production of a mini documentary.
- Participating artists will present and explain their artworks directly to visitors, creating an interactive and educational experience.

Celebrating 10 Days of Nouns ’O Clock with 10 Artists
- 10 artists will rotate daily to create and publish one artwork per day over 10 days, celebrating Nouns ’O Clock.
- Each artwork will be shared across Nounsweek’s X account, the artists’ X profiles, and their personal Instagram accounts to maximize reach.
- This collaboration is designed to drive cultural momentum and auction visibility from Noun 1861 to Noun 1870.
- Each participating artist will receive a $50 commission in recognition of their contribution.
Nounsweek Artist Talk
- The core objective of this project is to ensure that participating artists continue creating and contributing to the Nouns ecosystem beyond the event.
- To support this, Nounsweek X Spaces will be hosted over 5 weeks, featuring 2 artists per session as speakers.
- Each session will explore artistic movements, the artists’ journeys, and in-depth discussions of the works created.
Timeline
- Week 1 :
- Finalizing the Nounsweek concept.
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Nounsweek contest with curators.
- Initiating the design process for the contest announcement and promotional materials.
- Week 2-3 :
- Publications, announcements, and marketing for the contest.
- Launch of the challenge on Nounsweek and selection of artists by curators
- Preparing the bootcamp concept, including finalizing the venue and educational materials.
- Week 4 :
- Conducting venue surveys and securing event bookings.
- Confirming participating artists, including managing any potential artist replacements.
- Developing the documentary concept and preparing supporting content materials.
- Week 5 :
- Executing the bootcamp, exhibition, and community fun events.
- Delivering educational sessions that clearly communicate the purpose of the event and the expected outcomes.
- Ensuring that artists arrive excited and leave inspired, motivated to continue creating and contributing within the Nouns ecosystem.

- Post-event recap and documentation.
- Participant satisfaction survey.
- Measuring outcomes and achievements throughout the program, followed by a progress update.
- Kick off the Nouns ’O Clock celebration with artworks created by 10 artists.
