TL;DR
Nounish Art School began with a simple but powerful belief: that great art education shouldn't be gatekept by geography or economics.
Founded in Trujillo, Peru, and launched in August 2024 as a community-funded proposal through Nouns Amigos, the school was born from the lived experience of us as cofounders — artists and educators who had spent years teaching, mentoring, and watching talented people fall through the cracks for lack of opportunity.
Our vision was grounded and specific: take an existing physical space, transform it into a vibrant creative nounish hub open to everyone, and fill it with students who deserved a chance. With 100% scholarships and a community built around making art.
✅ Early Validation
The school has recognition from a local Cultural Association, and with limited resources and a lean operation, Nounish Art School has already proven something important: the model works. and the IRL impact is real.
📈 What We've Proven
Armed with that proof, the school is ready to scale — expanding our scholarship program to reach and develop more talent, building a digital platform to track students’ progress, and creating clear pathways for artists into creative careers, entrepreneurship, and Web3 builders.
P.S: Nounish Art School venue is forever.

Why Nouns?
We are Disturbio and Ivanna.
We met years ago at university, where we both studied architecture and the arts.
With a background in teaching and a shared passion for art and education, we developed this proposal inspired by Nouns as a powerful intersection of creativity and innovation.
Our goal is to give back to our local community by providing free access to art education, while building a strong cultural contribution that also opens pathways for artists to transition into Web3.
Through this, we aim to create meaningful impact in our city of origin—bridging art, education, and emerging technologies.
What we offer to Nouns beyond the Art School?
Nounish Art School is the first Art School by Nouns and the only IRL based in Perú, a free Nounish space open to everyone.
With this proposal, we aim to build on the progress we’ve already achieved and continue operating as a fully Nounish initiative—expanding its cultural impact, onboarding new artists, and strengthening the presence of Nouns in our local ecosystem and beyond.

.png?table=block&id=341e50ff-9855-8065-ab13-e93849f38364&spaceId=86ae50ff-9855-81a1-9478-00036a8d0a58&width=1420&userId=&cache=v2)
Also, we will associate with other art schools for exchange classes and art exhibitions.
2. Artistic Career Pathways
Students are supported in exploring and starting their own artistic projects, ensuring practical and tangible outcomes.
Career pathways are integrated into the 6-month scholarship program, while ongoing guidance and collaborative workspaces remain open to the broader community.
We also provide open access to workshops, as well as information and opportunities related to Nouns and the wider creative ecosystem.
3. Long-Term Sustainability Plan & Scholar Creators
We are building a sustainable model by combining community-driven merchandising with creator-led content and distribution—fully aligned with the core concept of Nounish Art School.
From the beginning, merch was not conceived as a separate initiative, but as a natural extension of the school’s creative ecosystem. As students learn, experiment, and develop their artistic identity, merch becomes a channel to materialize and share that work with the community.
At the same time, content creation becomes a core layer of the program for community engagement, where selected scholars act as creator ambassadors, documenting and sharing the journey of the school.
Scholar Creators: Content as Culture & Distribution
We introduce a Scholar Creators Program, where selected students and team members generate content around the school’s process and impact.
Content includes: 🌍🎨🎨📹IRL studio videos (classes, workshops, behind the scenes) 🌍🎨🎨 Vlogs documenting the journey of becoming an artist 🌍🎨 Process content (from idea → creation → final piece) 🌍 Event coverage and community activations
Educational snippets about art, Nouns, and Web3
Goals:
- Build inspiring narratives around emerging artists
- Increase visibility of Nounish Art School and Nouns
- Support merch distribution through storytelling
- Position the school as a living creative ecosystem
.png?table=block&id=344e50ff-9855-80cf-9b43-e103f6a23598&spaceId=86ae50ff-9855-81a1-9478-00036a8d0a58&width=1410&userId=&cache=v2)
Merch as an Extension of the School
Our approach to merchandising is directly connected to the educational process: Designs are created by artists within the program Students transition from learning to producing real-world creative outputs Merch becomes a tangible result of the school’s artistic development
This ensures that merchandising is not an external effort, but a continuation of the learning journey.
Validation Through Practice
In our previous proposal with Nouns Amigos, we introduced merch as part of our ecosystem and activated it through events, workshops, and community spaces.
The result was a sold-out first batch of 122 pieces, confirming strong alignment between our creative output and community interest.
2026 Strategy: Scaling What’s Already Aligned
For 2026, we aim to expand this model by:
- Developing new collections designed by program artists
- Compensating creators for their contributions
- Strengthening content and storytelling to support distribution
- Expanding presence through events, community activations, and digital channels
Sales Channels
- Nounish Concept Store (existing, zero cost)
- Local fairs & partnerships (Trujillo and Lima)
- Marketplace platforms and social media (primarily Instagram)

Strategic Positioning
Merchandising is not a separate revenue stream—it is a creative output of the school and a bridge between education, culture, and sustainability.
4. A Nouns Auction Activation Segment embedded within each showcase
We are hosting monthly art showcases featuring emerging artists, reaching ~20,000 monthly visitors, including collectors, curators, and cultural stakeholders. In parallel, we are expanding our network through collaborations with cultural associations and established collectors, strengthening the quality and reach of each showcase. Building on this, we are introducing: A Nouns Auction Activation Segment embedded within each monthly showcase.
This is not a separate event, but a dedicated moment within the exhibition where:
Visitors, including collectors, are introduced to the Nouns ecosystem The ongoing Nouns auction is explained in real time Attendees are guided on how to participate Cultural engagement connects directly with on-chain activity
Value to the DAO Access to an audience that already includes art buyers and collectors Conversion of cultural attention into auction participation Expansion into LATAM through existing trusted networks
Expected Impact ~20,000 monthly visitors exposed to Nouns Engagement from both emerging audiences and collectors Increased awareness and participation in daily auctions
Long-term Vision
Each showcase becomes a recurring entry point: art → collectors → participation → contribution
